Day trip to Toledo: Portuguese group, Slovenian group and Spanish Students.

We took a trip with 2 Erasmus+ buses. The 140 students and teachers participated in a digital cultural activity based on QR codes in 3 languages. The objective was to follow the route marked on the map and stop in front of Toledo's most popular historical landmarks to listen to the hidden audio behind the QR codes. It was a real success that was enjoyed by all participants.

Day trip to Madrid: : Portuguese group, Slovenian group and Spanish Students.

In Madrid, the language teachers take us on a guided tour in English about Madrid literature. They show us the literary Madrid, the most important theaters in the capital, and the cafes with the most history. Additionally, we have a typical Spanish meal: serrano ham and fried eggs at the Museo del Jamón.

Visit to the Fuenlabrada City Hall.

We are welcomed by the councilor of education and each of the participants is treated with souvenirs of merchandising. They show us the facilities and tell us about the history of the municipality. A very institutional morning.

We engage in outreach on Fuenlabrada radio, where we share details about our dual Erasmus project.

Through this platform, we elaborate on the intricacies of our endeavor. We discuss how our project entails cultural exchange and educational immersion, emphasizing its dual nature which fosters deeper connections between participating students and educators. By broadcasting on Fuenlabrada radio, we aim to raise awareness about the enriching experiences and opportunities our Erasmus project offers, not only within our local community but also to a broader audience. We highlight the significance of cross-cultural understanding and collaboration in today's interconnected world, underscoring the importance of initiatives like ours in promoting global citizenship and fostering mutual respect and appreciation among diverse communities.

CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The activities carried out have been collaborative, participatory, and highly interactive. The primary objective has been to converse in English and communicate effectively. Throughout our journey, we have emphasized the importance of active engagement and mutual cooperation among participants. By fostering a collaborative environment, we have encouraged everyone to contribute their ideas, perspectives, and experiences, thereby enriching the overall learning experience.
Each activity has been meticulously designed to promote interaction and engagement. Whether it's navigating through a digital cultural experience using QR codes, exploring the literary landmarks of Madrid while conversing in English, or immersing ourselves in the history of Fuenlabrada during our visit to the City Hall, every moment has been an opportunity for meaningful interaction and language practice.
Moreover, the participatory nature of our activities has empowered individuals to take ownership of their learning journey. By actively participating in discussions, role-plays, and group tasks, participants have been able to build confidence in using English as a means of communication. This active involvement not only enhances language proficiency but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and community among the participants.
In essence, our emphasis on collaborative, participative, and interactive activities aligns with the overarching goal of our Erasmus project: to create an immersive and engaging environment where English language skills are not just taught but actively practiced and applied in real-life situations. Through these experiences, participants not only improve their language abilities but also develop valuable communication and teamwork skills that are essential for success in today's globalized world.
